Hit teen YouTube channel transformed into daily podcast debuts today
YouTube and podcasting make for strange bedfellows, considering that YouTube focuses on "video" and podcasting focuses on "audio."
But in the last two years, podcasting and YouTube have grown closer as more YouTube shows develop podcast versions and podcasts develop YouTube versions.
A prime example of that burgeoning trend is the all new podcast “Storybooth Daily,” a Spotify Original from Parcast, in collaboration with Wheelhouse DNA.
The podcast premiered, Monday, November 8.
Storybooth, an immensely popular app and YouTube channel that guided pre-teens/teens globally and quickly accumulated a following of over 4.5M subscribers, has now been transformed into a podcast, with new episodes out daily.
Every day, host Jordyn Rolling will bring listeners real, relatable stories told by the people who lived them for an intimate look into the issues that affect us all. The podcast will provide all sorts of personal and diverse perspectives, from first kisses to dating mishaps to all of the challenges and joys of teenage life -- no topic is off the table.
