Bloomberg debuts new podcast called Big Take
Bloomberg doesn't get a lot of press from the podcasting community, but it does have a strong podcast network with shows focused, of course, on business. In fact, Bloomberg was producing and releasing an excellent podcast version of its Businessweek magazine back in the early days of podcasting.
Bloomberg is now premiering "Big Take DC," a new podcast that shares one reported story a week about how money, politics, and power shape Washington — and the consequences for people in America and all over the world.
The show is hosted by a veteran DC reporter, Bloomberg Senior Washington Correspondent Saleha Mohsin, who will bring a signature blend of narrative story-telling and sharp interviews every week. The podcast will air weekly on Thursdays and is an offshoot of Bloomberg's existing daily "Big Take" podcast that brings listeners inside one important story.
Episode one, going live today, features an interview with Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, in which she reveals
she
would back whoever ultimately wins the nomination, even if it is former president Donald Trump.
Maybe someone can ask her why she refused the 2024 federal EBT program that provides low-income families with funds to
ensure children don’t go hungry, half of which would be funded by the
federal government.
The full interview will go live
HERE on January 11th at 4 PM ET.
