True-Crime Podcast "Lords Of Death" Premieres

The perceptual disparity between the level of violent crime in the U.S. is disturbing. In the recent election, voters expressed serious concern about rampant crime at a time when recent statistics show that murder and rape hit 20-year lows.

That disconnect between the actual crime rate and the perceived crime rate may be a major reason for the recent popularity of true-crime podcasts.

Now, there's a new true-crime podcast to hit the streets. Tenderfoot TV, an Atlanta-based independent content production studio, in partnership with Audacy has released the trailer for their newest podcast series, Lords of Death.

You can listen to the trailer HERE.

Set to launch on November 18, the new investigative series follows host Thrasher Banks as he revisits the 1995 murder of Cindy Cozad after uncovering a box of forgotten VHS tapes and police reports. As Banks delves deeper, he discovers evidence linking the crime to a secretive cult that required its members to “take a soul” as part of their initiation. This chilling discovery lead to the possible connection to several unsolved murders, and exposing of a mysterious group known as The Lords of Death.

The eight-episode series takes listeners to Ohio, where Banks pieces together a complex web of murder, memory, and long-buried secrets, challenging everything he thought he knew about his own history while seeking justice for forgotten victims.

The first two episodes of Lords of Death will premiere on Monday, November 18, with new episodes releasing each Monday. The series is released in partnership with Audacy Podcasts and can be found wherever you listen to podcasts. Tenderfoot+ will offer the podcast as an ad-free binge for subscribers.

Lords of Death is hosted by Thrasher Banks, who finds himself in the middle of both a murder investigation and a personal investigation after discovering information about several unsolved murders in a long forgotten box. Banks brings a unique perspective as he confronts individuals from his past to find answers to these murders and the true meaning behind the Lords of Death.

Have to say: great true-crime podcast title and terrific name of the host. Thrasher Banks is a great name for a hard-boiled private detective, a rogue MI6 agent, or a reality star trapped on Love Island
