iHeart Media has collaborated with The Recount to release weekly political podcasts in anticipation of the U.S elections. The first three podcasts they have announced include:
Hell & High Water with John Heilemann (trailer): Recount editor and host Heilemann will converse with prominent names across different industries on how America is going through this apocalyptic moment and attempting to rise above. Launch date: September 8.
Battleground (trailer): Former rivals David Plouffe (President Obama’s ‘08 campaign manager) and Steve Schmidt (chief strategist for late Sen. John McCain) will discuss the current political battleground and what is, or isn’t, working. Launch date: September 14.
Just Something About Her (trailer): Obama’s White House Communications Director, Jennifer Palmieri will interview female political leaders to find out what’s a woman gotta do to become President around here. Launch date: late September.

In addition, former South Bend Indiana Mayor Pete Buttegieg, the first openly gay former Presidential Candidate, also signed a deal for a weekly podcast with iHeartPodcast Network.
Called "The Deciding Decade," former federal prosecutor Preet Bharara will be the first guest on the podcast. Other guests will include actor and activist Billy Porter and SNL's Colin Jost.
