For those MMA fans, Vox Media/SBNation have announced that The MMA Hour podcast hosted by Ariel Helwani has returned. The first episode aired on August 16 at 1 pm ET/ 10 am PT on YouTube. You can also subscribe on Spotify, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
Earlier this year, award-winning journalist Helwani announced his return to SBNation MMA Fighting after spending three years at ESPN.
“It feels like not a day has gone by without someone asking me to bring back The MMA Hour or telling me how much they miss it,” said Helwani. “Well, I missed it, too. Tremendously. So, I am extremely excited to let the fans know that — finally — The Mixed Martial Arts Hour is back in their life. Man, it feels good to write that.”
Today’s show kicks off with special guests Dustine Poirier, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Urijiah Faber, Darren Till, Israel Adesanya, and Robert Whittaker (full breakdown below). New shows will be published on Mondays and Wednesdays at 1 p.m. ET — providing twice the exclusive weekly chats with the sport’s biggest stars. The show will also introduce an exclusive weekly segment that discusses picks and odds for upcoming fights.
