In a world where Spotify struggles to transact with adults such as Joe Rogan and Alex Jones, it's so comforting to see the company excel at developing and producing such commendable kids podcast programming.
For example, Spotify’s newest podcasts for families to enjoy together, Deep Blue Sea - just premiered.
Deep Blue Sea consists of episodes where listeners will join intrepid explorer Marina and her lab partner Reed in their underwater, oceanic laboratory, Sea Lab Alpha, as they introduce kids to amazing sea creatures from around the world.
In the first episode, Marina and Reef journey near Hawaii to meet their friend Mark the Great White Shark! Learn how Great White Sharks keep the ocean balanced, why they're such excellent swimmers, and how your ears and nose are made of cartilage - just like a shark!
I listened to the episode and, although I'm not the target demographic (68 instead of 6), I found the show wonderfully dialed in to kids in tone, timbre, and sensory output. In essence, the podcast out-Disney's" Disney with kids programming.
