"Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain" Podcast Signs Exclusive Deal With Spotify

 Spotify has snapped up another podcast for its walled garden. This time, it's a podcast hosted by a "by one of the most influential gen-z creators on the market today," according to Spotify.

  Spotify announced a multiyear exclusive licensing agreement with  Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain. The deal will make Spotify the exclusive home for the series, including all back catalog and future episodes – the entire series, like all podcasts on Spotify, will be available to stream for free in early 2023.

Recorded live from the comfort of her bed, Anything Goes is a place for Emma Chamberlain to get vulnerable with her fans and talks at length about whatever is on her mind every week – and anything really does go on this podcast. Sometimes she tackles philosophy, sometimes a random story from 10 years, ago, sometimes advice, and sometimes nothing at all. 

 

Hosting while in your pajamas could catch on. Maybe Joe Rogan, Roman Mars, Kara Swisher, or Ezra Klein could do their shows in branded PJs that could help them sell "merch."

Starting in early 2023, Anything Goes will be hosted exclusively on Spotify where fans will also be treated to new select video podcast episodes, exploring a new format for the podcast that takes Emma back to her vlogging roots, special guests and more.
