Drink Champs welcome Ludacris

The latest episode of Drink Champs, a podcast series, hosted by Legendary Queens rapper N.O.R.E and Miami hip-hop pioneer DJ EFN, from Warner Music Group’s (WMG) in-house podcast network Interval Presents, is available.

Drink Champs and Interval Presents seek to amplify underrepresented voices and explore the impact of music artistry from diverse perspectives—in a very lighthearted way over drinks and laughs. Each week, special guests sit down with the hosts for a night of boozy conversation and storytelling to talk about life experiences, friendship, and culture.

Black Information Network and iHeart announce the Black Land podcast

BIN: Black Information Network (BIN) and iHeart have announced a new podcast, Black Land, that will look into the lives of ordinary people and bring to life their extraordinary tales of triumph and circumstance through the lens of community.

 Hosted by Emmy-award winning, BIN journalist Vanessa Tyler, the new series will dive deep into uncharted stories and give an overdue and deserving voice to those who have often experienced the other side of the American dream. From laughter to tears, triumph to trials, Black Land will share powerful stories that will spark ask important questions and critical conversations. 

 “We are excited to celebrate the launch of BIN: Black Information Network’s first podcast. By sharing these stories, we hope to illuminate the resilience, strength and unwavering spirit within the black community,” said Tony Coles, President, BIN: Black Information Network. “These stories are not just important – they are essential. We will continue to use this platform to amplify marginalized voices, foster understanding and contribute to a more inclusive, understanding, and compassionate world.”

Each episode of Black Land will highlight a compelling individual who experienced an extraordinary challenge, but persevered by developing a community.

The first episode features an in depth discussion with Wesley Hamilton
, a gunshot victim who became paralyzed, the aftermath of the shooting incident and the impact of gun violence in Black communities. Despite Hamilton’s injuries, he was able to turn his life around and create an organization called "Disabled But Not Really" to help others with disabilities and physical challenges. The episode will shine a light on the ripple effects of gun violence in Black communities across the country and the resilience of survivors like Wesley.
