Politickin' Podcast Premieres With The Unlikeliest Combo Of Celebrities

 I have to admit that the combination of these three "celebrities" is both unique and disturbing. A governor, a retired football player, and an agent. What could go wrong there? Or, better yet, what could go right?

We will find out on July 15 when iHeartPodcasts releases a new weekly podcast titled Politickin' with hosts California Governor Gavin Newsom, Super Bowl champion Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch, and powerhouse agent Doug Hendrickson.

According to iHeart, "The dynamic trio of hosts will have compelling and enlightening conversations, offering listeners valuable takeaways and a deeper understanding of what it takes to excel in their respective fields. Gavin Newsom, a leader making waves in politics, will address the current state of affairs in a way audiences have never heard from him before; Marshawn 'Beast Mode' Lynch, who spent the majority of his football career in Seattle, will share insider stories from the gridiron, lessons from the game, and what it takes to achieve greatness on and off the field; and veteran Wasserman agent Doug Hendrickson will offer insights into leadership, success and the drive to make a positive impact."

The podcast, which has been in development for more than a year, also promises other influential leaders and icons for in-depth discussions. Maybe the guests will also be from disparate backgrounds, like the hosts. Perhaps Martha Stewart, Vladimir Putin, and Antonio Brown on one episode. Or Jennifer Lopez, Rudy Giuliani, and Bill Parcells on another show.

According to iHeart, the show promises, "Gavin Newsom like you’ve never heard him, and Marshawn Lynch exactly how you’d expect him."
