Eurowaves, the biweekly newsletter covering the European podcasting industry, announced the Eurowaves Advisory Board: a group of international podcasting leaders committed to connecting the European podcasting industry to the world.
Founded in December 2024 by podcast professional Andreea Coscai, Eurowaves has published 43 issues and grown to more than 2,200 subscribers, with readers in countries across the continent. The newsletter has been featured in Forbes, Podnews, Podcast Review, Bingeworthy and Ear Worthy, and has expanded beyond the inbox into in-person meet-ups, most recently in Madrid and London.
The new advisory board formalizes the network that has grown up around the publication. The members span Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the United States, Australia, Romania, Madagascar, France and Colombia, and bring experience across public broadcasting, narrative documentary, podcast technology, journalism, podcast agency production and community organizing.
"The podcasting scene in Europe is very diverse, yet disconnected. Each country has its own approach, but the closer you look, the more surprising similarities you find," said Andreea Coscai, Founder of Eurowaves. "There is plenty of room and need for growth, funding, support, and cross-border collaboration. This board is a group of professionals who have spent their careers building exactly that, in different corners of the world. Having them in the same room makes Eurowaves even more useful to the industry."
More information on the advisory board will follow on the Eurowaves website. For further media inquiries, contact andreea@pod.vision
Eurowaves is the only newsletter dedicated to the European podcasting industry, published every other Friday on Substack by Andreea Coscai. Each issue covers interviews with industry professionals, industry news, podcast recommendations, a country spotlight, featuring shows in their native language, plus events and opportunities. Readers can also join the Eurowaves hub, a Google Group of more than 500 international podcasting professionals.
On a personal level, Ear Worthy is proud and honored to be part of the Eurowaves Board Of Advisors.
