Taste Toast Travel Podcast: Global Destinations Through The Lens Of Food, Drink, and Culture

 Anyone who knows me has to put up with my bugaboo about bad podcast names. I always feel that an indie podcaster puts their heart and soul into developing a podcast with months of thought and planning and then, at the last minute, the name is decided in seconds. It's like their energy is drained and this is good enough. Doesn't matter that there are three other podcasts with the same name. "They will find us."

I'm elated to report that creator/host Tara Accardo has come up with one of the best names in podcasting. Taste Toast Travel. The name is alliterative. The name perfectly describes the topic of the show, and the name emits a playful, fun vibe. 

The great name isn't just window dressing. Taste Toast Travel is just as good as its name. The Taste Toast Travel podcast is a weekly show, hosted by travel enthusiast Tara Accardo, that explores global destinations through the lens of food, drink, and cultural traditions. It is designed for curious travelers and food lovers who want inspiration for their next getaway or just love learning about the world from home. 

Each episode features candid conversations with industry experts, chefs, and locals who share insider stories and personal journeys. As the audience, we get to go along and explore the rituals and flavors that define different cultures.

That podcast is really all about digging into the incredible power of travel, culture, and exploration. It feeds another huge part of my soul, in addition to the grief work I do."

Tara explains her interest in travel and learning about other cultures: "Traveling and experiencing life abroad has been pivotal in shaping who I am today. From studying abroad in Florence in my freshman year of college -- my first time ever out of the U.S.-- to living in Rome and teaching English to the Italian military, to living in the countryside of Siena with my now-husband—and getting married there, too. Each of these experiences, and the small and big moments in between, have impacted me."

It's beyond just talking about what makes a dish so special or a drink so delicious, although we definitely dig into that, too.
